Polyurethane Foam Injection

This is the latest and currently most popular option for repairing damaged concrete structures. Here, polyurethane foam will be injected in 5- or 8 inch-diameter holes drilled into damaged concrete slabs. The foam will lift the slab to a level position since it expands evenly in all directions.

Polyurethane foam injection is fast and can be completed in a day, needs only a few hours to set and does not have a considerable mess to clean up. This method is also erosion-resistant, eco-friendly, and waterproof. Though the foam might stain the concrete if it touches it, this effect will fade over time.

Installation of Helical Piers

You can also opt to have helical piers installed to transfer the weight of your concrete structure from its base to a load bearing soil layer. This method is nonetheless only suitable in places with soft underlying soils way below the surface. The use of helical piers in combination with slab brackets is unfortunately expensive and thus reserved for high-end buildings and extensive concrete damage.
